
About Us

Our journey to living mindfully and intentionally began 12 years ago when our son was diagnosed with ADHD. What in the world does that have to do with yoga, dancing, meditation and mindful living? Everything.
We tried everything not only to help our son manage his symptoms but also to learn how to manage as a family when you're over stressed, over worked and over stimulated just like he is.
We searched for 8 or 9 years trying every thing from medication to behavioral treatment, diet, oils...whatever has been suggested as a possible solution, we tried. We were living moment by moment grasping for hope in what seemed like a battle we were not going to win. Then we found mindfulness.
Mindfulness is defined as paying attention to the present moment in a particular way. Essentially, it's slowing down and savoring life. Neuroscience has proven that when we slow down and pay attention that we create space in our thinking patterns to respond intentionally instead of react blindly. Our brains change, our emotions change, our energy changes and our lives change.
Our family still lives moment by moment, but we do so now with an indescribable amount of love, joy, intention of action and motivation to create our best lives because we now practice mindful living each and every day. There are so many easy ways to tap into being mindful and dancing and yoga are just a few! Our mission is to continue to educate our community on how to take control of their lives and live with intention, passion, connection, joy and love in their everyday.
Now, we are spreading the love. We have trained under Mindful Schools, The Mindfulness Institute and CEO Leslie is a Registered Yoga Instructor.
